Book TicketsFacebook Event

Always one of the highlights to the Bristol Pride Festival we’ve again been working hard to bring the best comedy acts to Bristol for a night filled with laughter. We’re proud to again have a stellar line-up this year and as ever expect a very busy night so be sure to book in advance!

Venue: Bierkeller | Doors 7pm

Jayde Adams
Hosting our comedy night for the last 2 years we welcome Jayde back with open arms. In 2014 she won the Funny Women Awards and London Cabaret’s Audience Award. She has a passion for making people laugh and in 2011 discovered she could sing opera, as you do. Upcoming TV appearances include 8 out of 10 cats and Jayde is regular at festivals such as Edinburgh Fringe, Glastonbury and Bestival, hailed as unbelievably funny by fellow local comedy act Russell Howard.

Julie Jepson
This cheeky northerner burst onto the comedy circuit in 2005 when she reached the final of the Funny Women Comedy Awards on only her 3rd gig. She has an arresting and animated comedic presence, mixing bubbly and conversational stage patter with an array of wonderful comic voices

She’s performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, Brighton Comedy festival and as well as TV appearances she was invited to tour with the Funny Women National Theatre.

David Mills
Focus people! London based American actor and comedian David Mills has a cocktail-lounge-lizard image which belies an acerbic wit cut with fire-and-brimstone rants! His smart observations on contemporary life are set to superb comedic delivery alongside witty banter and salty sarcasm.

Camp and with claws as sharp as his suits, David is a class act and his jokes are well crafted and superbly executed. You may well recognise him from staring in Florence Foster Jenkins as Augustus Corbin.

Bethany Black
Bethany Black has been a professional stand-up comedian since 2004. Debut show BETH BECOMES HER detailed the story of her being transgender, chronicling everything from her coming out through her transition and eventually falling in love, it was nominated for Best Debut at the Leicester Comedy Festival in 2008.

She’s performed alongside some of the biggest names in Comedy, including Allan Carr, Sarah Millican and Tim Minchin and in 2015 was cast as Helen in Russell T Davies multi channel shows CUCUMBER, BANANA and TOFU. Last year she performed her show (EXTRA)ORDINARY at the Edinburgh Festival and after 6 years we are excited to have Bethany back at Bristol Pride.
