Inclusion training

Are you ready to foster a more inclusive and supportive environment for the LGBTQ+ community? 

Our interactive LGBTQ+ Inclusion training equips individuals and organisations with the knowledge and tools needed to create safe, respectful, and affirming spaces for everyone. By increasing awareness and promoting allyship, we help reduce discrimination, support mental well-being, and create lasting positive change. 

Led by people from the LGBTQ+ community, our workshops create opportunities for you to work collaboratively and explore how you can connect to and support people from the LGBTQ+ community within your organisations and beyond. 

Whether you are looking to build awareness of LGBTQ+ identities, create allyship or gain a deeper understanding of LGBTQ+ inclusion, we are here to support you.  Delivered either online or face to face, you can either choose from one of our established LGBTQ+ inclusion modules or talk to us to develop a bespoke session.

WHAT WE OFFER 

Lunch and learn sessions for the workplace (1hr) 

This light touch, engaging session focuses on what LGBTQ+ inclusion looks like within the workplace. This is a great session to start a conversation with colleagues, or add value to a programme of LGBTQ+ events.

Sessions for schools

These interactive sessions help to build empathy and understanding of LGBTQ+ identities and lives, challenge harmful stereotypes, and ensure that young people feel safe, valued, and free to be themselves. Our school sessions are age appropriate and can be tailored to meet your needs.

Introduction to LGBTQ+ awareness and inclusion (2 hrs)

This session offers an introduction to LGBTQ+ inclusion.

  • A basic understanding of key terminology used to describe different sexual orientations and gender identities
  • Introduces allyship and why it is so important
  • How to be an active and inclusive ally including using inclusive language, the importance of using pronouns.
 

Half day – LGBTQ+ allyship training (3.5hrs)

This session focuses on LGBTQ+ allyship

  • An introduction to LGBTQ+ inclusion
  • Understand terminology used to describe different sexual orientations and gender identities
  • Explore the lived experience of LGBTQ+ people within the workplace and beyond
  • An introduction to LGBTQ+ allyship and how to be an active ally
  • Reflecting your workplace and how to increase LGBTQ+ inclusion within your organisation

Consultation services

We can support you to embed your LGBTQ+ inclusion by writing or reviewing your HR policies such as family leave policies, your trans and non-binary policies. Get in touch to find out more
