We don’t get core funding to put Pride and are the only Pride of our size in the UK to still offer donation entry so that no-one is excluded from Pride. We couldn’t do this without your donations, all of you getting supporter wristbands and our festival partners who also support us to deliver key parts of the festival and free events for the community.
Organisational support to Pride is vital. In the face of rising costs to put on events, infrastructure and to make things like the Parade happen and keep Pride Day donation entry we simply could not make Pride happen without it. However we will not accept applications from fossil fuel companies, airlines and those involved in defence, arms/weapons manufacturing or animal testing.
