Since their international breakthrough in 2006, Cascada has established itself as one of the most influential forces in the international dance music scene.

The group have sold over 30 million records worldwide to date. Charismatic lead singer Natalie Horler’s distinctive voice lends Cascada an unmistakable sound, and she continues to aim for further success releasing the disco and funk inspired album “Studio 24” in 2024.

Single “Every time We Touch” was a USA Billboards top 10 and reached Number 2 in the UK Charts while “Evacuate The Dancefloor” was a global anthem reaching number 1 in the UK, Top 5 in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland and New Zealand and Top 10 in many countries around the world.

Ultra’s #1 single “Free” shows no sign of letting up, 25 years after its original release. Ultra a widely noted ally of the international LGBT+ community and Free was universally named one of the Top Pride anthems of all time during 2019’s unprecedented global World Pride celebrations. In 2020 Tomorrowland’s influential One World Radio included the track in the Top 10 of its ‘Best Ibiza Anthems of All Time’. In 2021, Ultra was invited by dance maestro Pete Tong to close out his Ibiza Classics tour to crowds of 90,000. 2022 saw Swedish Pop duo Icona Pop collaborate with Ultra for a version of Free (You’re Free) and a historic performance from Ultra to a sold out Wembley Stadium for the Women’s Euro 2022 final, alongside Becky Hill and Stefflon Don.

2023 saw no let up for Ultra. Executive Producer Paris Hilton enlisted her to host the critically acclaimed #1 podcast The
History Of The World’s Greatest Nightclubs, while seminal cut If You Could Read My Mind celebrated its 25th anniversary with an exclusive package release. A year after ULTRA, Ultra dropped ULTRA DELUXE, with additional tracks DANGEROUS (So Dare Me) – the Top 5 indie disco smash with Les Bisous, YOU’RE FREE with Icona Pop, and new songs WORLD ON FIRE and UNBREAKABLE. The latter anthem was seized upon by global radio and across the entirety of the BBC Radio 2 daytime schedule.

Last year saw titular single ‘Party Girl’ from the cult classic 90s Parker Posey film of the same name re-imagined by Scottish rave upstarts KIMMIC and released worldwide, while synth-pop star and Bristol Pride alumni Bright Light Bright Light brought Ultra on for his ‘Every Emotion’ confection.

Coined by ‘Wonderland’ as a “sensational breakout star”, indie pop artist and ‘Sex Education’ star Anthony Lexa has been “lighting up people’s playlists with beautiful alt-pop bops” (‘Notion’ 2023) since 2018. Hailed for her songwriting ability, she has worked with Itamar (RAYE, Ed Sheeran, Perrie Edwards), Gethin Pearson (Charli XCX, BLOC Party, Badly Drawn Boy) and Mark Elliot (FIZZ, Orla Gartland).

Anthony’s musical prowess has led her to perform at iconic London venues including The London Palladium, The Clapham Grand and Colour Factory as well as selling out her own London cabaret show. She’s taken to the stage at ‘Wireless’ and ‘Body Movements’ festival and spoken on panels with Channel 4, Soundcloud and even recorded an episode of the ‘QueerAF’ podcast.

With an accrued fanbase of over 180,000 loyal followers online, Ant has come a long way from her upbringing in rural Devon. Her focus is to create a safe space with her art for anyone who feels alienated, a feeling she knows all too well due to her skin condition and identity as a transgender woman.

She has grown up in the performing industry, but her activist based work cannot be ignored. This includes her efforts in raising over £40k with ‘Not A Phase’, presenting an award for ‘Just Like Us 2024’ in collaboration with Gay Times and her position as an ambassador for ‘GoFundMe’, ‘Think2Speak’ and ‘Changing Faces UK’.

Speaking on his new EP, Kwan mentions how he “wanted to blend those influences into my EP to give it a sense of nostalgia and a sentimental touch. The synths, the narratives, and the vocal tones of this EP capture the 2am adventures I had growing up in Hong Kong, still closeted, but exploring love, sexuality, and adventure for the first time. These stories of falling in love, experiencing rejection, heartbreak, and celebration were stories I thought would only ever live in my memory. Being able to perform them and sing them for an audience on stage has been so liberating and freeing for me. There’s something about bringing songs written in the darkness to light, from keeping them hidden to singing them on stage that’s so magical to me, and hopefully to those listening too.”

Synthpop band formed in Sheffield in 1977, originally a minimal Post-Punk synthesiser-based group, they became one of the most successful New Wave acts of the 80s. In 1981 they recorded album Dare! Spawning hit singles, Open Your Heart, Love Action and most famously Don’t You Want Me – the biggest selling single of 1981. The band received the Brit Award for Best British Breakthrough Act in 1982 and further hits followed throughout the 1980s and into the 1990s, including Mirror Man, (Keep Feeling) Fascination, The Lebanon, Human and Tell Me When. They received extensive MTV airplay, scoring 2 US number one singles and are cited as influencing artists including Pet Shop Boys, Le Roux and Little Boots. They’ve been sampled and covered by various artists, including Ladytron, George Michael and LCD Soundsystem and to date released 9 studio albums as well as EPs, remixes and earned 6 top 20 albums,13 top 20 singles in the UK and sold more than 20 million records worldwide.

The Human League has influenced many electropop, other synth-pop, and mainstream performers, including Pet Shop Boys, Moby and Little Boots are longtime fans of the group. They have been sampled and covered by various artists, including Ladytron, Utah Saints, George Michael, Robbie Williams and LCD Soundsystem.

Originating in Liverpool, Ladytron earned two decades of acclaim by pushing boundaries, carving out new sonic and conceptual space and refusing to abide by formula or trend. They gained international recognition and twice took their primitive electronics to Coachella Festival, toured across Europe, Asia, North and South America, and were invited to perform with artists such as Bjork, Nine Inch Nails, and Brian Eno at the Sydney Opera House.

A trailblazer, Char is Director of People and Culture at Birmingham Pride and Education and Inclusion officer for the biggest global movement for queer people of colour UK Black Pride.

Famous for her blend of percussion, vocals, and dance music, we welcome Georgia to the Bristol Pride Mainstage. Known for her electric performances and energy, Georgia will be bringing the Dancefloor to the Downs.

The thrill of losing yourself in the music pretty much defined the narrative for Georgia’s critically acclaimed Seeking Thrills whilst the dynamite Euphoric has vibrating energy and heartbeat in every song. She’s collaborated with Mura Masa, Gorillaz, Shygirl and remixed for Jessie Ware, Metronomy and the Queen of Country, Shania Twain on her recent #1 album. It’s safe to say there’s probably nothing Georgia can’t put her hand to.

Swedish music royalty and much loved artist who has participated in the prestigious Melodifestivalen four times. Winning Eurovision in 1999 with Take Me To Your Heaven and returning in 2008 with Hero, which became a best-selling single with a platinum album. With 8 albums and performances in Evita as Eva Peron and Belle in Beauty and the Beast to critical acclaim. She’s been a Idol judge, TV presenter and she’s also been on major tours including ensemble projects Diggiloo and Rhapsody in Rock. We’re excited to bring some Swedish magic to Bristol Pride.

Do you believe in life after love? Trisha McCluney of BBC1’s “I Can See Your Voice” is Essentially Cher! and will taking you on a journey of the incredible classic hits we know you’ll love. Strong Enough, All or Nothing, Walking in Memphis, Believe to name a few as well as songs from Cher’s Dancing Queen Abba album. Trisha is the Ultimate tribute act to The Goddess of Pop which has made her in demand all over the UK, Ireland and Europe including EuroPride. With her uncanny vocals, mannerisms and stage presence, get ready to Turn Back Time for this very special performance.

Best known as one-fifth of STEPS, one of the UK’s all-time most successful pop groups.  The band have sold over 20 million records with 14 top five singles, 4 number one albums, hits including 5,6,7,8, Chain Reaction, One for Sorrow, #1’s Tragedy and Heartbeat, and many more. 2011 saw the band achieve another #1 album with their ‘The Ultimate Collection’ release, followed by a Sky 1 documentary series ‘Steps Reunion’ – the highest rated original programme on Sky that year.

2017 saw their 20th anniversary with sold out arena tour and release of Scared Of The Dark, and the gold certified Tears On The Dancefloor both going straight to #1 on iTunes. Since then, Steps have continued to tour arenas and to release new music including the Sia-penned ‘What The Future Holds’ in 2020 and the Michelle Visage duet ‘Heartbreak In This City’ in 2021, They scored a further two #2 charting UK albums with ‘What The Future Holds’ and ‘What The Future Holds Pt 2’ then in 2022 released the #1 album ‘Platinum Collection’ joining ABBA, Rolling Stones and Stereophonics as the only groups in UK history to score #1 albums in four consecutive decades.

Since then she’s become a public figure and role model for many, and has already made a number of appearances at top red-carpet events such as Pride of Britain, The Attitude Awards and The National Beauty Awards.

One of Billboard Magazine’s Top 100 Dance Artists of all time, Rozalla is back for our 15th Anniversary. Moving to the UK from Zimbabwe in 1988 she was a Band of Gypsys session singer. 1990 solo hit ‘Everybody’s Free (To Feel Good)’ became the anthem of the 90s and has had subsequent hit releases. With a string of hits since her new album Turn on The Light was released in February.

Hailed as one of the most prolific vocalists in the UK, ‘Vula Malinga’ has seen success with many hits such as her Basement Jaxx collaboration “Oh My Gosh” and the recent Riton & Oliver Heldens hit “Turn Me On”. With a nod to the nostalgic post punk, new wave, synthwave, indie and dream pop genres of the 80s and 90s, their songs explore unrequited love, heartbreak, and the joys and challenges of life in the LGBT+ community. With over a million streams of their debut album and backing from Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube Music, they are a must-see live act.

Mantaraybryn has been releasing indie pop music and performing live since his 2016 debut album ‘Dark Shapes in the Water’. His later EPs ‘Black Kemble’ and ‘Year of the Heron’ have built an impressive catalogue, amassing over 27 million streams on Spotify. He has since performed at festivals, sold-out UK tours, and a slot on the Birmingham Pride Main-stage.

Originally from Cornwall, the sea air is in Mantaraybryn’s blood. He draws lyrical inspiration from the natural world, folklore, and romance around him, twisted with the modern pressure of being a fearful queer in an ever daunting world. Excerpts from his diary and iPhone notes become poetry, and then into driving bangers and ballads. Musically, he’s inspired by alt-pop elite, including Kate Bush, Robyn, Florence & The Machine, Caribou, TEED, and George Michael.

An indie-pop sensation sending shockwaves through the scene, Dylan and The Moon is a masterful musician, singer-songwriter and producer with a natural talent for crafting infectious melodies that refuse to let you stand still. His music combines the best of modern pop production, with nostalgia and retro vibes. Drawing inspiration from The Beach Boys, The Cure, and Buddy Holly, Dylan creates a magnetic blend of lively guitar riffs and heart-stirring harmonies. This Bristol institution has grown into the largest LGBT+ organisation in the South West, formed in 2008 and now with over 100 members they are no strangers to the Pride Main Stage.
