The Bristol Pride Cabaret Stage is hailed as one of the best in the country and we’re very lucky to attract some of the best performers! Expect sequins, heels and singing (sorry!).
Flamboyant, at times risqué (you’ve been warned) and always unpredictable the Cabaret Stage is the place to catch national and local acts and we’ve been tracking down the very best from the South West and London to bring you something really special.
Thank you to our stage partner Just Eat and also to the Bear Bar for supporting the artist’s green room.

An act that delivers every year. An amazing performer and a Bristol (and global) favourite. You cannot fail to be entertained by one of the most versatile drag artists on the cabaret scene. Anne Robinson fell in love with him when he appeared on the Weakest Link but don’t ask him about the bungalow.
With satirical characterisation of famous ladies, from Susan Boyle to Lady Gaga, or whoever is currently in vogue, expect lots of live vocals, patter, impressions and visual comedy.

Lola Lasagne is the Brighton Belle with 28 years under her wig! She has worked every major city & cabaret venue across the UK bringing her irreverent humour, sharp tongue and live vocals with her. Not to mention appearing in Dublin, Gran Canaria & South Africa, she is in demand.
Success as Lola has seen her or her alter ego, Stephen Richards, take his talents to both television and the stage, with plays & pantomime and stand up comedy. A keen supporter of LGBT issues across the UK, since coming out in 1987 & performing since 1989 and has appeared at many UK Prides and is the backbone behind the Legends Cabaret tent at Brighton Pride. Lola is no stranger to the Bristol scene but this is Lola’s debut at Bristol Pride & she looks forward to seeing everybody there.

A firm favourite with the crowd here in Bristol and returning with a storming set year on year Son Of A Tutu really knows how to wow.
Winner of Drag Idol 2011 and winning Best Cabaret Newcomer 2012 and Outstanding Contribution 2017 in the BOYZ Scene Awards Tutu is an immigrant from Lagos Nigeria on the run from The UK Border Agency, Her Majesty’s Customs and Revenue, The RSPCA and Kerry Katona.
Her shows, which she customises to fit each client’s needs whether it be a comedy setting or a high energy party atmosphere, use a series of sung and spoken vignettes to present a hysterical no-holds-barred insight into the trials and tribulations faced by this wanted wanton woman, as she navigates her way through the highly combustible terrain that is British multiculturalism.
As well as being a fantastic and hilarious act Ola is an incredible supporter of the scene and an activist raising awareness of, and tackling, racism head on.

One of the hosts for this year’s stage and the person responsible for the line-up (cheer or boo as you see fit), no mean feat, but this Bristol resident will ensure everything will run smoothly- if that’s possible!
Winning Miss Retreat in 2012 and then going on to appear on 2012’s Main Stage, she’s a 2014 Drag Idol Semi finalist and been our Cabaret Stage Host for the past 3 years, Miss Beaver is now a firm favourite on the Scene.

Drag Idol winner 2013, Martha D’Arthur has continued to grow on the cabaret scene in the UK as well as performing in the US and Mexico.
She continues to peddle her positivity with charitable and political messages especially this year, the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. She’s genuinely thrilled to be back at Bristol Pride to share in the love, as much as we are to have her back this year. Oh and she also loves cakes and chicken… so uh we better get some in.

Somewhat of a Bristol institution, she’ll go to the opening of a vodka bottle if asked so Pride was an easy sell…especially with the Bear Bar keeping the green room well stocked.

Co-producer of the South West’s premier drag king cabaret night Brizzle Boyz and local community cabaret night SCRiTCH Cabaret, Oliver Assets is a Bristol based transgender non-binary drag king.
Described as “the master of a million miserable faces”, Oliver’s performance style is deadpan and theatrical with a sprinkle of satirical politics thrown in for good measure. He’s stormed across stages in both The UK and The USA and has been voted as one of the Top 25 Drag Kings in the World and we’re proud to have them perform at Pride this year.

This Homely Housewife enjoys singing the classics, Doing the Jitterbug and Indulging in a sherry or two.
Gladys brings her own flavour of the Valleys to the Bristol Pride stage. She is quite simply Lamb dressed as Mutton and doesn’t skimp on the mint sauce.
