Trustee Recruitment

Bristol Pride is seeking new trustees to work with the new and growing team and would particularly like to hear from underrepresented groups from our community and society such as people of colour and members from the QTIBPOC community.

Bristol Pride is a registered charity organised by professionals and volunteers from the community. We work all year round to challenge homophobia, biphobia, transphobia and promote equality and diversity, for all, through various events, school visits, consultation services and lobbying.

We are looking for committed, passionate individuals with the skills to support the growth of the charity and the event.

Bristol Pride employs a part-time operational team that is managed by the Festival Director.  The organisation also employs a number of freelance staff to assist with the delivery of events.  The operational team is responsible for the day-to-day management of the charity in line with the objectives and strategies outlined by the Trustees. Trustees are involved in all major decisions.

The role of a Trustee is to ensure that Bristol Pride fulfils its duty to its beneficiaries and delivers on its vision, mission statement and values. You will take overall responsibility for the organisation, ensuring that Bristol Pride delivers our charitable aims.

There may be areas of particular skillsets you can bring or projects you could get involved in. We are particularly keen to hear from anyone with Charity Finance and Accounting experience

If you are interested in becoming a Trustee please email us for more details.
