Bristol Pride is seeking some new trustees to work with the team. We are looking for committed, passionate individuals with the skills to support the growth of the charity and the event.
You do not have to have prior experience being a trustee. It’s important to us that we have a wide range of voices in the room and that our activities reflect all intersections of our community so we are particularly looking for women, people with disabilities, members of the Trans and QTIPOC community.
Bristol Pride is a registered charity organised by professionals and volunteers from the community. We work all year round to challenge homophobia, biphobia, transphobia and promote equality and diversity, for all, through various events, school visits, consultation services and lobbying.
The role of a trustee is to ensure that Bristol Pride fulfils its duty to its beneficiaries and delivers on its vision, mission statement and values.
We are looking for committed, passionate individuals with the skills to support the growth of the charity and the event.
We are particularly looking for people with the following skills / experience to join our board, however these are not essential.
- Financial Management / Budgeting / Accounting
- Grants & Funding Procurement
- Festival / Event Experience
- Human Resources Experience
- Charity or Organisational Management
- Sponsorship & Partnerships Procurement
