An online celebration of Bristol Pride and our community
Kickstarting with our special Virtual Parade our Virtual Pride Day for 2020 will bring all the excitement of the festival on The Downs direct to you, plus an evening afterparty of incredible DJs – all streamed to you for free!
Taking place on Saturday 12 September, with over 40 acts from across all our festival stages, you can expect new at-home performances specially created just for you as well as some never before released archive footage of performances from previous Bristol Pride festivals to bring all the action to you. Expect drag queens from our cabaret stage, dancers from our performance stage, local LGBT+ talent from the New Stage and of course acts from the main stage including the chance to see Mel C performing with Sink The Pink from Pride 2019.
Community is at the heart for Bristol Pride so of course, we couldn’t have Pride Day without our community area. Throughout the broadcast you’ll hear from the stalls that would have been in our community area this year, talking about who they are, what they do and how you can get in touch. From social and sports groups to vital support networks, charities and service providers. At a time when we are more disconnected than ever, these groups are here to support you.
You’ll also hear from some of our 2020 partners, supporters and some very special guests.
Be sure to check out all the events taking place for this year’s online festival including our Dog Show, Comedy Night, Family Day, Wellbeing Event and so much more. All the events will take place online from 1 – 12 September. Visit our events page of the Bristol Pride Online for more details.
We’ll be streaming this and all our events on our YouTube Channel so head over and hit subscribe now. You can cast this to a TV or simply watch via your phone, laptop or tablet. So grab your Pride flags and your social bubble of friends or family an watch together indoors or social distance in the garden and cast to a screen.
