Izzy is a musical theatre extraordinaire with a penchant for portraying awful old men. Eve is a clown with a love of acting the goat. Brought together by Owl on the Roof Theatre, they have become an unstoppable force ready for the immovable object of a stony-faced audience. Together they are TWO OLD MEN, bringing their derivative brand of comedy rap to the likes of Bristol, Cornwall, and beyond (Brighton). They can’t wait to excite, delight and disgust at Bristol Pride, with some old favourites and new originals.

Tammy Pink is the elvish fae demon prince of your wildest dreams. Fuscian magic seeps through his veins, eager to indoctrinate you into their bubblegum cult with rose tinted glasses. be aware, this is not a phase as he has been exuding pink excellence from the beginning of time and will continue to do that long after this plain of existence is obliterated. 

Following their debut performance late last year, they ascended into the bristol drag performance scene with big titty boy energy and certainly do not plan on stopping there. you better buckle yourselves in for a ride through the cosmic landscapes of otherworldly shenanigans that are bound to make your deepest desires a reality.

Filthy Wholesome is a hedonistic and habitually overstimulated humanoid creature whose exact origins are unknown. And irrelevant. Freed from the trappings of knowledge and suspended in the ignorant experience of perpetual emotional reaction; Filthy Wholesome gorges themselves on the moment. 

Savouring every experience, be it sensuous or vile, all feeling is nourishing food/data for the endless psychic hunger of Filthy Wholesome. Filthy feeds and evolves, changing shape with the glut of new food/data and invites you, too, to feast on contradiction, to sense the horror behind beauty and claim sensuality in despair. After all, sweetness is the first sign of decay. Since their debut with the House of Savalon, Filthy has been bringing the chaos to Bristol with a blend of angst, sex and sax. Riss is a clown, drag king and a bit of a creep tbh. Their solo show ‘Healing King Herod’ had a sellout run at VAULT Festival 2023, received widespread critical acclaim, nominated for VAULT Show of the Week Award and awarded the ‘Keep It Fringe’ Fund.

A frequent host of The Lost Cabaret, their material has been endorsed by Comedy Central and showcased at venues such as Tobacco Factory Theatres and Glastonbury Festival. They have worked on four ACE funded projects, all focused around queer experiences. Yaaas.

Beatrix Gomez has been involved in Bristol’s queer scene since 2017, performing and competing at drag events, pageants, and ballroom functions as an active member of Bristol Ballroom Community. She is no stranger to the Get Qweird stage and was a resident performer during season 2. Beatrix is all about good lighting, the right aesthetic and a romanticised atmosphere. Bristol’s Aries femcee paying homage to the women of hip-hop and fashion from eras past. She raps, writes, reads, vogues, but is a storyteller at her core. Ms Gomez is a fluorescent beige asexual girl who values investing in the fantasy.

Jame Crawley is a performance artist combining drag, clown, stand up improvised comedy and immersive theatre. As their character, Astro-Zenica, they act as Mother and Artistic Director to The House of Savalon. Astro’s work explores culture and what humans can become when we learn to cooperate, love our differences, and move beyond a competitive environment.

Previously one half of post-punk duo SINK YA TEETH, her solo music twists and mutates its way through its influences, chewing up the sun of its parts and spitting out a groove-laden mash-up that nods to both 90s rave culture and Afro-futurism.

Cosmic Ninja are a powerhouse of energy with their unique fusion of rock, rave and punk sounds. Combining an anti establishment message with joyful exuberance and positivity, the band personify the zeitgeist of the post-pandemic era.

Described as “able to deliver for the big occasions” and “truly a visual spectacle” they are the live band of the moment who never fail to bring down the house. Their raucously infectious set on the main stage at the 20,000+ capacity Bristol Pride Day was a fitting high to an extraordinary 2022 summer, and we can’t wait to see what they bring to the Get Qweird x Punka Stage.

DYVR is a non-binary queer artist and activist, who uses electronics to create deeply personal songs about the constraints of sexuality and gender – and how love is found and expressed through those constraints.

The sound is rich and atmospheric, with DYVR’s stunning vocal taking centre stage.
