First wave of artists announced for Bristol Pride 2024

We are excited to announce the first acts performing at Bristol Pride this year as we welcome stars of Rupaul’s Drag Race to headline this year’s Cabaret Stage and DJ legends to the Official Afterparty.

Yes! Southern sensation and breakout star of her own series and Drag Race Allstars 8, Heidi N Closet will be crossing the pond to join the celebrations, alongside Drag Race UK fan favourite, Pixie Polite. The cabaret stage will host 30 acts this year bringing the very best Drag Queens, and Kings, of the UK cabaret circuit to Bristol including Mary Mac, Lola Lasagne, Son of a Tutu, and Alfie Ordinary. Also back this year is Saxophone-playing Drag Queen, Snow White Trash.

We’re also please to announce the artists performing at their iconic afterparty, taking place at the Bristol O2 Academy. 3 rooms of incredible DJs, performance, aerial displays and dancers. The incredible Confidence Man DJ’s are headlining the main room; Aussie party-starters, Confidence Man have spent the past 12 months cementing their status as one of the hottest dance music acts of the moment and their special DJ sets pay homage to the fun 90s euphoric dance music that inspires the original Confidence Man project.

We also welcome back local legends, Don’t Tell Your Mother this year to open the show with their own twist of house party vibes, unexpected classics, and dancefloor crowd-pleasers. Bristol regulars will know DTYM is a monthly LGBT+ club night with a cult following that prides itself on creating a joyful raging dancefloor where everyone is welcome to let loose.

Room 2 see’s Bristol club night One More Time join the festival for the first time, with their huge 90’s & 00’s party bringing a blend of ultimate Pop Classics, 90/00s anthems, R’n’B jams, Dance and Hip Hop. Usually at home in The Fleece, One More Time DJ Remy Melee (Boardmasters, Download, Boomtown) takes over for this special Pride celebration. Whilst in While Bristol icons Jersey The Devil and Macha Zu present Aether in Room 3 spinning Dance, Techno and remixes along with special performances throughout the night.

Bristol Pride 2024 runs from the 29th-13th July this year with the main Pride Day taking place on Saturday 13th July. Returning to The Downs, over 200 artists will perform across 5 stages. Last year Jake Shears headlined the Main Stage alongside Natalie Imbruglia and Girls Aloud star, Nadine Coyle and organisers will reveal more of their 2024 lineup in the coming weeks.
