Mulit-Platinum Canadian alt-pop visionary and global icon! We are incredibly excited to have Allie X headline Bristol Pride 2025.

Over the past decade she has cemented herself in the pop pantheon as one of music’s sharpest, most insightful, and trendsetting artists. With over half a billion streams online, she’s set to bring a bold, high-concept live show to the festival, filled with her signature synth-pop sounds and rebellious spirit to close out the Main Stage.

Known for her boundary-pushing sound and fearless aesthetic, she’s toured with and written hits with artists including Troye Sivan, Charli XCX, Dua Lipa, MARINA, BTS, Empress Of and The Vamps.

Recent album Girl With No Face is inspired by the technology and hedonism of the early 80’s new wave scene, the album’s analog-leaning songs are a series of stark contradictions – retro in feel but ultra-modern in subject matter. It’s going to be a very special performance.

This year’s Afternoon Legend is the iconic Kim Wilde!

Winner of Best British Female Solo Artist at the Brit Awards, Kim Wilde has sold over 10 million albums and 20 million singles worldwide, making her the most-charted British female solo acts of the 80s.

Consistently performing and releasing music the 90s saw Kim continue to remain in the spotlight with the albums ‘Love
Moves’ and ‘Love Is’ featuring singles including ‘Love Is Holy’ and Bee Gee’s classic ‘If I Can’t Have You’ from ‘The Singles Collection 1981-1993’.

In 2013 Kim released the beautiful and critically acclaimed, ‘Wilde Winter Songbook’ album and in 2018, Kim released ‘Here Come The Aliens’, her 14th album to Worldwide acclaim. Charting in the UK album chart and all over the World, named BBC Radio 2 Album of the week and spawning several Top 10 Radio hits in the UK.

Maintaining her reputation as a formidable live performer, she joins the Bristol Pride line-up as part of her European ‘Closer Tour’ with her band, and will perform a string of iconic hits including You Came, You Keep Me Hangin’ On, Never Trust a Stranger, Chequered Love and of course, Kids In America which has amassed over 221 million streams on Spotify.

Since their international breakthrough in 2006, Cascada has established itself as one of the most influential forces in the international dance music scene.

The group have sold over 30 million records worldwide to date. Charismatic lead singer Natalie Horler’s distinctive voice lends Cascada an unmistakable sound, and she continues to aim for further success releasing the disco and funk inspired album “Studio 24” in 2024.

Single “Every time We Touch” was a USA Billboards top 10 and reached Number 2 in the UK Charts while “Evacuate The Dancefloor” was a global anthem reaching number 1 in the UK, Top 5 in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland and New Zealand and Top 10 in many countries around the world.

Named one of Billboard Magazine’s Greatest Dance Artists Of All Time, and with a career spanning three decades and spawning massive crowd stompers such as Twisted, Automatic, Party Girl, New Kind Of Medicine, Found A Cure, How Long (Ultra Flava), If You Could Read My Mind, and the seminal, evergreen anthem Free, US singer, songwriter, DJ and producer Ultra Naté continues to be an integral force within the life blood of global House Music.

One of the first house music artists to sign a major label deal (with Warner Music UK), Ultra Naté’s sound has continually embraced a variety of genres including House, Soul, Disco, Electro-Pop, R&B, HipHop and Rock. Ultra’s #1 single “Free” shows no sign of letting up, 25 years after its original release. Ultra a widely noted ally of the international LGBT+ community and Free was universally named one of the Top Pride anthems of all time during 2019’s unprecedented global World Pride celebrations. In 2020 Tomorrowland’s influential One World Radio included the track in the Top 10 of its ‘Best Ibiza Anthems of All Time’. In 2021, Ultra was invited by dance maestro Pete Tong to close out his Ibiza Classics tour to crowds of 90,000. 2022 saw Swedish Pop duo Icona Pop collaborate with Ultra for a version of Free (You’re Free) and a historic performance from Ultra to a sold out Wembley Stadium for the Women’s Euro 2022 final, alongside Becky Hill and Stefflon Don.

2023 saw no let up for Ultra. Executive Producer Paris Hilton enlisted her to host the critically acclaimed #1 podcast The
History Of The World’s Greatest Nightclubs, while seminal cut If You Could Read My Mind celebrated its 25th anniversary with an exclusive package release. A year after ULTRA, Ultra dropped ULTRA DELUXE, with additional tracks DANGEROUS (So Dare Me) – the Top 5 indie disco smash with Les Bisous, YOU’RE FREE with Icona Pop, and new songs WORLD ON FIRE and UNBREAKABLE. The latter anthem was seized upon by global radio and across the entirety of the BBC Radio 2 daytime schedule.

Last year saw titular single ‘Party Girl’ from the cult classic 90s Parker Posey film of the same name re-imagined by Scottish rave upstarts KIMMIC and released worldwide, while synth-pop star and Bristol Pride alumni Bright Light Bright Light brought Ultra on for his ‘Every Emotion’ confection.

Tom Rasmussen (they/them) is a London-based artist and prominent figure in the LGBT+ community. Known for their dark dance music that blends pop, queer club culture, and their experiences as a former drag performer, Tom’s debut album, Body Building (Globe Town Records 2023), received critical acclaim and they release their second album Live Wire last last year.

Expect a set packed with hard-hitting beats, emotional depth, and pure magic as Tom delivers a raw, celebration of identity and Pride.

VOYA are Linford Hydes and Eddie Al-Shakarchi. Influenced by the meticulous songwriting, opulent production and emotive vocals of early 80s British synthesiser-based pop, their music contrasts dark electronica with stylish new wave. Live shows also features the powerful, operatic vocals of Jessy Allen, and incredible live drum mastery.

VOYA were hand selected by Walt Disco to support them at Clwb Ifor Bach in Cardiff; their premiere at The Great Escape 2023 was
awarded with two showcases; they have debuted at the industry festival FOCUS Wales 2023; headlined the International Queer Film
Festival: IRIS Prize; along with a sold out evening at Chapter Arts Centre.

Linford trained in musical theatre at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama; his understanding of the theatrical and his penchant
for performance, combined with a classically trained, yet soulful vocal delivery is integral to the band’s masterful live shows.
Eddie is an award-winning producer and multi-instrumentalist that shaped the sound of Boy Azooga’s acclaimed ‘1, 2 Kung Fu!’
album, which catapulted the band to international success and sold-out, headline tours. His background in science (culminating in a
PhD in audio processing techniques) combines with his musicality as an artist and experience as a producer, and allows him to create
the perfect soundscapes for Hyde’s vocals.

Together, they form a uniquely creative duo, blending the beauty, depth and power of Hydes’ lyrics and vocal performances, with
musical virtuosity and production ability and we are excited for them to join us this year.

Coined by ‘Wonderland’ as a “sensational breakout star”, indie pop artist and ‘Sex Education’ star Anthony Lexa has been “lighting up people’s playlists with beautiful alt-pop bops” (‘Notion’ 2023) since 2018. Hailed for her songwriting ability, she has worked with Itamar (RAYE, Ed Sheeran, Perrie Edwards), Gethin Pearson (Charli XCX, BLOC Party, Badly Drawn Boy) and Mark Elliot (FIZZ, Orla Gartland).

Anthony’s musical prowess has led her to perform at iconic London venues including The London Palladium, The Clapham Grand and Colour Factory as well as selling out her own London cabaret show. She’s taken to the stage at ‘Wireless’ and ‘Body Movements’ festival and spoken on panels with Channel 4, Soundcloud and even recorded an episode of the ‘QueerAF’ podcast.

With an accrued fanbase of over 180,000 loyal followers online, Ant has come a long way from her upbringing in rural Devon. Her focus is to create a safe space with her art for anyone who feels alienated, a feeling she knows all too well due to her skin condition and identity as a transgender woman.

She has grown up in the performing industry, but her activist based work cannot be ignored. This includes her efforts in raising over £40k with ‘Not A Phase’, presenting an award for ‘Just Like Us 2024’ in collaboration with Gay Times and her position as an ambassador for ‘GoFundMe’, ‘Think2Speak’ and ‘Changing Faces UK’.

Speaking on his new EP, Kwan mentions how he “wanted to blend those influences into my EP to give it a sense of nostalgia and a sentimental touch. The synths, the narratives, and the vocal tones of this EP capture the 2am adventures I had growing up in Hong Kong, still closeted, but exploring love, sexuality, and adventure for the first time. These stories of falling in love, experiencing rejection, heartbreak, and celebration were stories I thought would only ever live in my memory. Being able to perform them and sing them for an audience on stage has been so liberating and freeing for me. There’s something about bringing songs written in the darkness to light, from keeping them hidden to singing them on stage that’s so magical to me, and hopefully to those listening too.”

Back as our 2025 Main Stage Host, with distinctive style and charm, Boogaloo Stu inhabits his own unique visually rich world which is irresistibly inviting, filled with an optimism that sparkles as brightly as the vintage lurex threads of his bespoke fashion looks. Stu has had a long and varied career as a DJ, theatre-maker and artist, with his audience always at the heart of his work. In recent years, he has honed his talents as a visual artist, creating striking dioramas and ceramics.

From the vibrant streets of Birmingham, UK, to the pulsating heart of Berlin, AKA KELZZ (they/them) has evolved into a captivating act weaving a tapestry of soulful melodies and introspective lyrics. 

AKA KELZZ’s voice, a blend of velvety warmth and raw emotion, serves as the anchor of the music, transporting the listener into a realm of vulnerability and introspection. Kelzz’s music is a wonderful blend of neo-soul, lo-fi and urban pop with a hint of their Jamaican heritage.

Making waves in the music scene in Berlin and internationally they have support from artists such as Pip Millet, Madison Mcferrin, Shay Lia and Kaleo Sansaa.

The music is a testament to Kelzz’s unwavering authenticity, a bold self-expression that has earned them a loyal fan base and critical acclaim. With its captivating sound and heartfelt messages, Kelzz is a beacon of hope and inspiration, reminding us that vulnerability is not a weakness, but a strength that connects us all.
