Bristol Hate Crime and Discrimination LGBTQ+ community listening forum with Q&A, and discussions

The Bristol Hate Crime and Discrimination LGBTQ+ community listening forum event where you will have the opportunity to hear more about ways to report hate and discrimination and find out more about local and national support options.

There will be the opportunity to ask questions, feedback your thoughts alongside hearing from Bristol Hate Crime and Discrimination Services around the support on offer.

Local people, activists, groups, organisations and changemakers are encouraged to attend to share their views, thoughts and work. How can Bristol tackle anti LGBTQ+ hate and discrimination effectively? How can under-reporting be addressed? What change is needed?

Avon and Somerset Police have been asked to share about their work in supporting LGBTQ+ people and communities and pose questions to hear more about their plans in tackling the recent uprise in anti LGBTQ+ hate crimes reported nationally, alongside sharing their plan for Hate Crime Awareness Week.

Speakers and agenda to be released nearer the time. Bristol Pride will be sitting on the panel at this event.
