We know this is an incredibly strange time and we want to provide a sense of online community for our LGBT+ family by shining a spotlight on groups in Bristol that are working to support our community. 

Below we’ve compiled a list of organisations, charities and community groups that we hope you find helpful. 

We’ll regularly be sharing resources and information on wellbeing to help keep you and feeling good and safe.

Freedom Youth is Off The Record’s gender and sexuality social action project. They offer support to 13-19 year olds with group sessions filled with workshops (on topics such as housing, relationships, mental health, gender and sexuality, keeping safe and much more). They also host a Freedom group for 19-25 year olds.

Galop is a national helpline for LGBT+ victims of domestic abuse, homophobia and sexual violence. They also support LGBT+ people who have problems with the police or questions about the criminal justice system.

Rainbow Noir is a volunteer run, social, peer support and community action group for People of Colour who identify as LGBT+. They operate primarily in the Greater Manchester and North West area.
