OutStories Bristol presents an illustrated talk on the LGBTQ+ press as part of the queer counterculture of the 1960s and 1970s, and the origins of LGBTQ+ printed periodicals both in the UK and locally. Robert Howes is a founder member of OutStories Bristol with first-hand knowledge in this area.
Outstories Bristol collect and preserve the social history and recollections of LGBTQ+ people living in or associated with Bristol and organise the annual LGBTQ+ History Month event at Mshed.
Held in Clifton Library Space, 13 Princess Victoria St, Clifton, Bristol BS8 4BX the event runs from 5.30 – 7pm
