As part of LGBTQ+ History Month, and as a special Valentine’s celebration of love in all its forms, we are excited to team up with Eastside Community Trust for another chance to see Drip Like Coffee – a tender, intimate film that explores queer romance, desire and the courage to embrace one’s truth.
Recently featured at the 39th BFI Flare: London LGBTQIA+ Film Festival 2025 at BFI Southbank, the film has been praised for its warm visual palette and poetic storytelling.
Set within the world of a Black queer couple, Drip Like Coffee beautifully captures the soft moments, tensions and deep emotional currents that define loving relationships, offering a heartfelt reminder that every love story deserves to be seen and celebrated.
Join us this Valentine’s for a cosy, love-filled screening honouring the message that Love is Love and uplifting queer stories at the heart of our community and stay after the film for a short discussion.
Popcorn and other light refreshments will be available at affordable prices.
“A Queer Vision Valentine’s treat in the form of BFI Flare-featured indie flick Drip Like Coffee – part slow-burn self-discovery story, part celebratory Black sapphic romance, it overflows with warmth and is shot gorgeously against a modern-day Brooklyn backdrop.”
