Inspired by 404: Deadname Not Found, this workshop for trans people focuses on online safety, your rights to your data and digital footprint and how to limit, find and remove sensitive personal information that could put you at risk.
Delivered by transgender, non-binary and cisgender facilitators that work in Privacy, Security and Safety online with experience in intersections of gender identity alongside race, ethnicity and online activism. We’ll also cover basic and accessible cyber security and online privacy, threat modelling, secure and insecure communication methods, as well as looking at international travel as marginalised identities under threat.
We want to make preparing for uncertain times as easy and approachable as possible.
