Come and celebrate with Shire Pride.
Shirehampton are hosting a social pride banner gathering a week before Bristol Pride!
Get creative making a Pride banner to take to Bristol Pride on the 11 July or to hang up at home, or in your window! If you are not feeling creative you can simply meet people locally and have a chat and a cuppa and a slice of pizza.
The event starts at 10am but you are welcome to drop-in at any time.
Everyone welcome! Young and old, introverts and extroverts, families, allies, queers, and even dogs.
All materials will be provided.
This event is hosted by Shirehampton Action at Shirehampton’s Public Hall on Station Road. The event is fully accessible for wheelchair users, and they have booked a smaller room as a quiet space for those who need it.
If you have never been to Shirehampton it is easy to get to by public transport (train/bus) and there is also nearby free parking on local streets.
The event is supported by the Bristol Port Company and Curly Red Sam.
By registering to attend they team can ensure enough snacks (including pizza!) are available and avoid food waste. They will be providing vegan and gluten free options.
If you have any access needs or dietary requirements get in touch: chair@shirehamptonaction.org.uk
