We team up with Assembly Nights for an evening filled with lively music, spirited dancing, and boundless celebration of love and diversity. Let’s come together as a community to honour our identities, embrace our differences, and dance with pride!
Swirl and twirl to the electrifying beats of traditional ceilidh tunes, with a modern twist that celebrates the LGBT+ spirit. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or a first-timer, this inclusive atmosphere welcomes everyone to join in the fun and create unforgettable memories.
From the spirited jigs to the heart-pounding reels, every step you take will be a testament to the resilience and strength of the LGBT+ community. So grab your dancing shoes, bring along your friends and allies, and let’s make this Pride Ceilidh a night to remember!

Alex Garden (they/them) is a fiddle player, guitarist, composer and producer with a unique approach as a result of 10 years experience performing folk, classical and improvised music around the UK. Alongside working with The Drystones, Sheelanagig, Tarren, Harriet Riley & Alex Garden, The Terra Collective and The Longest Johns, Alex is a recording artist who produces a variety of collaborative work.
Guitar/Fiddle
Alex Garden (they/them) is a fiddle player, guitarist, composer and producer with a unique approach as a result of 10 years experience performing folk, classical and improvised music around the UK. Alongside working with The Drystones, Sheelanagig, Tarren, Harriet Riley & Alex Garden, The Terra Collective and The Longest Johns, Alex is a recording artist who produces a variety of collaborative work.
Rhiannon Takel (she/her) is a folk singer and multi-instrumentalist from Cardiff. She performs repertoire from Welsh and English language song traditions and forms one third of the all-trans folk trio Craven, whose crafted takes on traditional songs draw from the sound worlds of electronic music, film scores and post-punk.

Erin Mansfield (she/her) is a young but very experienced caller who has worked with some of the biggest names in the UK E-Ceilidh scene. Making her festival debut at Warwick Folk Festival in 2018 with Tautas Roks, Erin has since gone on to become a favourite among festivals and ceilidh series alike; calling alongside household names like Whapweasel, The Canny Band and Granny’s Attic to name just a few! Her trademark wit, humour and insurmountable energy places Erin firmly in the realm of the UK’s top ceilidh callers.
Calling The Dance
