Get ready to celebrate LGBTQ+ books and art by queer and allied authors and artists at our first ever QueerLit Southwest in Bristol!

Welcome to the first ever Queerlit Southwest, taking place on Saturday 4 July 2026, it’s an LGBTQ+ book and artist convention to celebrate queer and allied authors and artists in a safe and diverse space!

Celebrate LGBTQ+ books and art with a vibrant mix of queer and allied authors and artists. QueerLit Southwest was created by three queer authors of queer stories and a queer owner of an artistic small business with us all sharing the same goal in mind: to create a safe, diverse space for queer literature and art to be celebrated. Now, they are inviting you all to join them, and discover your new favourite author and artist.

So, whether you are an avid reader or wanting to discover more authors to add to your TBR, they cannot wait to see you there and to celebrate their very first bookfest with you all.

Authors and Vendors already announced include:

Jemma Croft | CS Autumn | Ryan J Hamshaw | KC Wells | CM Daniels | Ruby Dare | Emily Alter | Tyler Whittaker | Charlie Novak | Kerry Kilpatrick | Merry Farmer | KC Carmine | Captain Milbourn | Pumpkin Patch Workshop | Lily James | Skyla Raines | Ilana M Lindsey | Jojo Stone | Fearne Hill | Jasmine Wallace

and more to be announced

There are two sessions running across the day, 1000 – 1300 and 1400 – 1700. During these timed sessions, you can expand your book and art collections, chat to the many authors and artists attending plus the team will be hosting a special raffle at each session to win books and art donated by the authors and artists. All ticket sales will be donated to Bristol Pride.

Queerlit Southwest is an inclusive and safe space for all, so we will be offering pronoun stickers for all attendees who would like one on arrival, the venue is accessible to all, with parking available, nearby public transport links, and level ground.

The event is 18+ event due to the inclusion of NSFW topics and art inspired from authors’ works, though please note not every author and artist at the event will be presenting NSFW themes.

This event is supported by the Bristol Pride community fund.
