Dance Performance Stage

Our first host for the afternoon the fabulous Mariana Trench has been performing since 2018, when they took off like a rocket!

This stunning queen who has musical theatre running through her veins, is a regular of the Bristol scene and is a talented singer, comedian, and seamstress.

Back hosting the first half of the stage again this year, Mariana will then head over to host the Uplift stage with Punka.

AE Dance + Fitness exists to make good people feel great so they can do amazing things!

They run adult dance classes across Bristol and whether it’s Musical Theatre on Monday, Lyrical Ballet on Tuesday, Burlesque on Wednesday, Commercial on Thursday or Lyrical Contemporary on a Friday, the goal of their classes is always the same: to see dancers leave with a spring in their step and a smile on their face!

Valarie’s Dance Studio aim to provide children and adults with access to as many styles of dance as possible. They train contemporary, commercial, lyrical and street dance. An inclusive and ambitious dance and acro studio catering to individuals of all ages, from toddlers of 2.5 years old to adults.

They offer a wide range of opportunities, including recreational classes, full scale shows, challenging competitions, skill-enhancing exams, and memorable performances.

Choose Zumba Gold are a group of Women all aged between 69 years and 80 plus who all met at Zumba Gold and want to continue to dance and love music for as long as they are able to.

They still have a bit of sass left and continue to want to be flexi and sexy! and want to show other’s not to write the old ones off!

L.A Dance offers a variety of Street Dance classes to suit all ages and abilities including competition classes for those who like to compete! They provide many performance opportunities, fun days, dance themed parties and 1-2-1 private lessons.

Street Dance foundations incorporate Wacking, House, Hip Hop, Litefeet, Urban, Popping, Locking and Commercial.

Choose Zumba encompass Zumba and Zumba GOLD in fully inclusive and welcoming sessions. They regularly perform Flashmobs in the local area as well as performances at events to we bring fun and energy to the crowd and performers and they have something special to bring to Pride.

A fun, friendly community dance group who welcome all abilities & ages to thier community dance school. Every class is designed to build confidence, learn wicked moves and most importantly have fun and everyone is encouraged to be who they want to be – building confidence & sass! 

While ballet is at the core of their technique they take from all dance disciplines to make fresh exciting dance theatre.

As well as a performance they’ll also give a taster workshop to get you on your feet!

Xtro Illusions Dance Company offers a wide range of classes for all ages and abilities. With performance and competition opportunities in a range of different styles from Street Dance, Ballet and Contemporary.

They work closely with students to build on their confidence and self esteem which can be portrayed within their performance!

Bristol Pride Dance Stage coordinator, Streetenvy Dance Academy, provides classes, workshops, socials, performance and more for adults, teens and children from all backgrounds and levels of dance experience.

They are proud to have an excellent reputation across Bristol and the South West for all of our dancers to feel supported and free to be themselves. With performances to the likes of Nicki Minaj, MJ, Justin Timerlake, Justin Bieber, Usher, Cher, Destiny’s Child and more!

Youth performance group, aged 2-18, in a range of styles. Dancers compete across the country with outstanding results trained in Acro, Jazz, Modern, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, and Contemporary.

A social dancing group for LGBT+ people and their friends covering a wide range of dance styles from salsa and tango to foxtrot and jive.

Queer social dancing is well established in cities such as London and Berlin but in Bristol dancers face a mixed response from mainstream classes and clubs, with barriers ranging from heteronormative language and assumptions to homophobia. Enter Bristol Equality Dance who will run a dynamic interactive workshop on Pride Day to get you dancing, mixing, laughing and meeting new people.

Created just for Bristol Pride 2024, Streetenvy welcome on stage some of our most talented child performers!

Many of our dancers on stage today have come from having no dance training at all, to feeling confident and excited at each and every performance opportunity. We see the importance in ensuring a safe, creative and fun space to learn how to dance. Join us and enjoy amazing performance and social opportunities too!

Piloxercise are all about connection, culture, and community, where everyone is welcome with open arms. Their dance group is a beautiful tapestry of ages, ethnicities, and sexual orientations, coming together to move and groove in unity.

Another chance to catch Xtro Illusions Dance Company performing a range of different styles from Street Dance, Ballet and Contemporary bringing another special performance for Pride Day.

This performance was specifically designed for Bristol Pride and will also be performed on the main stage at The Official Afterparty at the O2 academy!

The team hope you enjoy what they have put together and on stage at Pride, they represent many of the letters in LGBTQ+ family and will be performing to Madonna, Kylie Minogue (yes including Padam), Shania Twain and more.

They love to bring their hard work to such an important festival every year and thank you all for coming along and supporting Pride!

Multicultural group, based in Bristol, who love Latin dances, especially Salsa.

Forming as a salsa collective at the end of 2022 they performed with us at Bristol pride 2023. They are passionate about bringing female authenticity into Salsa, giving their own flavour to the routine and learning from each other in the process.

They cannot wait to show you their new choreography for 2024 followed by some mini workshops to get the crowd going.

African dance group Mundi Dance was established in 2010 by Louis-Roger Eboa and students at the Bristol Dance Centre in Jacob Wells Road, Bristol.

Born in Douala, Cameroon, West Africa, leader Louis now ranks among the leading African dancers in the South West of England. Mundi dancer will perform alongside live drumming bringing true African rhythms and energy to Bristol Pride.

This Commercial Latin performance/group will immerse you in the vibrant and energetic world of Latin American music by bringing together the best Latin dance styles like Reggaeton, Salsaton, Merengue, Latin Pop, Latin Urban, Dembow, Brazilian funk and much more!

D Wild Fitness are a dance fitness family where we they all support and believe in one another no matter shape, size, sex or ethnicity.

They like to have fun whilst working out.

In a change to the scheduled programme Ruby Lilly Dance return to the stage with a new performance for their second outing of the day drawing on their skills across Acro, Jazz, Modern, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, & Contemporary Dance.

We join forces with our dynamic duo, UGLY & Venus, for a blend of fitness, disco, and sheer fabulousness. This is a one-of-a-kind, high-energy session where you’ll strike a pose, learn to stretch like a queen and laugh your way into the morning. The Queens will share some of their secret moves to transform you into the ultimate queen.

Whether you’re a fitness enthusiast or just starting your journey, they guarantee a fantastic time filled with self-expression, comedy and high-energy.

Open to all abilities, It’s fitness with a glamorous twist – a celebration of your inner Queen!

Tribu13 returning to the stage to close the show with another chance for you to immerse yourself Latin and Caribbean rhythms. They are ending the day with a fun audience participation workshop with their high intensity dance fitness session!
