Pride Week Events & Supporter Wristbands

2017 Supporter Wristbands available NOW

Bristol Pride is a registered charity run by volunteers. We do not get the funding that other Pride festivals of similar size and it makes our job very hard but we passionately believe in keeping Pride an open access event so that no one is excluded from Pride. Pride is our chance to engage each other and wider communities and is your chance to celebrate who you are. You shouldn’t be forced to pay just for being gay but we do need your support.

Pride costs a lot of money, before we even think about artists payments we have to raise the money to pay for the fees and licence to use the site and then for the stages, marquees, security, fencing, toilets, first aid and even tables and chairs!
Entry to Pride is by donation, everyone will be asked for £3 to support Pride but we have introduced optional Supporter Wristbands.

Wristbands offer a visible identifier of a donation towards Pride (so you don’t keep being asked) and also offer fantastic rewards and discounts at Pride! This includes:
– Money off or free items from Pride Day food stalls
– Reduced travel with Bristol Ferry’s
– FREE bus travel with First Bus (Inner Zone) on Pride Day.
– Discount entry to atBristol
– Those without a wristband will be charged an additional 50p for drinks at the bars.

Pride are also working with local businesses in Bristol to provide those with the supporter wristband even more discounts across Bristol. Day+Night wristband includes day discounts offers and free entry to 3 Pride afterparties.

We have an alcohol policy which will be strictly enforced to comply with our licence. You will need a supporter wristband to be able to bring alcohol onsite – no wristband, no carry on.
Please note all profit from the bars goes directly to Pride and helps keep Pride Day free.

Your support helps us to support our chosen charity and other services and charities in the area, visit schools, prisons and who ever will have us to combat and challenge homophobia, subsidise the family and community areas of Pride and lastly every year we make a donation of what we can to an LGBT group working with young people in the area.

All tickets are subject to a booking fee of which we are not responsible for nor do we get this money. However we do get a small % back from the Bristol Ticket Shop.
