Jason Donovan and Sister Sledge announced for Bristol Pride 2026

We are excited to reveal the huge names performing at the 2026 Pride Day festival, with Jason Donovan, Sister Sledge along with RuPaul’s Drag Race alumni Myki Meeks and Catrin Feelings leading the lineup on The Downs on Saturday 11 July 2026.

Global disco icons Sister Sledge will headline the Main Stage, bringing their legendary sound and a catalogue packed with some of the biggest dance anthems of all time. Best known for their worldwide hit and iconic album We Are Family, the group are responsible for feel-good classics including Lost In Music, He’s The Greatest Dancer, Frankie and Thinking of You. With 15 million records sold worldwide, Sister Sledge remain true pioneers of disco and dance music. They’ll perform in Bristol with the Sledgendary band, as more of the Sledge family joins the group’s incredible legacy.

Joining us this year for the iconic Afternoon Legend slot is Australian superstar Jason Donovan. From his breakthrough role as 80s heartthrob Scott Robinson in Neighbours, to a chart-topping music career with Stock, Aitken and Waterman and standout performances in musical theatre, including The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Jason has sound tracked generations of music fans. His hits include Too Many Broken Hearts, Rhythm of the Night, Sealed with a Kiss and Especially for You and he’ll be performing an incredible hour long set with his live band.

Over on our Cabaret Stage we are excited to announced Myki Meeks, Orlando’s dynamic theatrical powerhouse and reigning Miss Glamour Newcomer who is currently competing in Season 18 of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Catrin Feelings, Welsh TikTok star and finalist of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 7, known for her quick-witted comedy will also be gracing the stage this year along with artists from across the UK and local legends.

We’re now one of the largest Pride events in the UK and we are expecting 40,000 people will join the festival on The Downs this summer. Our first wave of acts also includes house music legends Black Box, rising alt pop artist, and 21st Century Cool Girl singer, Chloe Qisha who was named in the BBC Sound of 2026, acclaimed tribute show Absolute Britney, and Kelly Llorenna, the voice behind clubland anthem Set You Free. We’ll of course be announcing more artists over the coming months with over 200 performers set to be part of the festival this year. Read more 2026 First Wave of Acts

Tickets for this year are now on sale, we’ve updated our pricing for this year, designed to help secure the future of the festival while keeping Pride financially accessible for everyone. We’re a registered not-for-profit charity and we’re offering a range of ticket options, including concessions to ensure no one is excluded because of cost. You can read more about our changes here.

Pride Day will continue to see the massive Parade March opening the day’s events, last year saw 25,000 people joining us as well as two weeks of events, across Bristol, running from Saturday 27 June until Sunday 12 July. Our returning events this year include our Drag Queen Bingo onboard Bristol Ferrys, Pride Comedy Night, our Circus Night at Circomedia, Film Festival at Watershed and megascreen, Theatre, Gaming and the ever.

Pride is as much needed now as it ever was and we know that this year’s event is going to be something really special as we come together as a community in celebration, protest and solidarity.

Like many large-scale community events, it’s becoming more challenging each year to make Pride happen. It cost over £714,600 to put Pride on in 2025 and we need as many people as possible to support the festival this year, while making sure there are more ways than ever for people to attend regardless of income. You can read a breakdown of how much it costs to make Pride happen including the Parade, and how much we need your support here.

The full Pride Day line-up, along with the complete programme of events taking place across the city during Bristol Pride’s two-week festival, will all be coming soon, so until then get you tickets and start getting ready for another incredible year.
