Wellbeing Chillout Area

A new space for some festival mindfulness and to chillout

We’ve added a new area to the festival. A space to chill and relax this is a mindful oasis at the heart of Pride.

It’s vitally important that we look after our mental health and this is a space to learn some techniques and tips to look after yourself. There will be yoga taster sessions thanks to Emma from Bristol’s Queer Yoga at 230pm and 430pm and special meditation workshops at 315pm and 515pm.

This is also a space to chillout, a space for those that want to escape sensory overload or just to take a breather. It’s also our new home for the Older People’s group at Pride. Be sure to also check out the Silent Disco in the Circus tent from 7pm for a liberating experience which is inclusive and has been shown to help support those with social anxiety.

We are also excited to team up with Bristol Ageing Better’s LGBT+ group who have partnered with Bluebird Teas to offer free herbal tea in the area along with free massages. Plus you’ll have the chance to find out more about support and events for older LGBT+ people in Bristol with thanks to the Pink Herrings.
