For Sloane signing songs deepens their connection with the lyrics and adds a whole new layer to the experience of it. Sloane is so excited to be one of the Deaf artists bringing BSL to Bristol Pride. Thank you Sloane!

Following the release of a #2 Dance Hit ‘Another Dimension’ with Timmy Vegas in 2009, they have since performed in dance arenas at Glastonbury and to a crowd of over 30,000 in Trafalgar Square.
Having supported JLS at the start of their career, they were applauded by the band and their management for hyping up the crowds!!!
Alongside being a regular live performer, Bad Lay-Dee is a committee member of Hackney Council’s QTIPOC (queer trans intersex people of colour) team, which has now created “Faggamuffin Bloc Party’ the first ever queer sound system.

Showgirl, songwriter, pop star, pianist, Eurovision and Dancing on Ice star. There is no one quite like Saara Aalto.
A chance to catch Saara for a special intimate performance ahead of her Main Stage set.
The voice of Princess Anna in the Finnish version of Disney’s Frozen, Saara exploded onto the UK pop scene when she entered X Factor blowing judges away with a breathtaking performance of Sia’s ‘Chandelier’ and has continued to blow us all away.
2018 was an incredible whirlwind year for Finland’s Saara Aalto. Following a sold out UK tour, (and Bristol Pride performance) in 2017 she went on to release her debut album in spring, represent Finland in Eurovision and support Steps on tour! She is currently wowing us with her incredible skating skills on Dancing on ice as well as releasing new music and we cannot wait to see what she has in store for us this summer.

A vibrant collaborative community choir for anyone 18+ who identifies as a woman/genderqueer. Started in 2010 in Manchester, SHE Choir is a network of free, non-auditioned choirs now running all over the world.
Singing original arrangements of pop, rock, indie, r&b and more, they are unique in that they arrange all their own songs. Each SHE Choir is run by its members and represents a space to build your creativity and confidence (as well as making some lovely new friends), with everyone being encouraged to suggest songs, arrange and conduct.
SHE Bristol was founded in January 2018 and is thriving, with almost 60 members to date, performing at several local events, from community fetes to charity fundraisers.
They rehearse weekly on Wednesday evenings, find them on Facebook @SHEChoirBristol if you’d like to join them!
