Bristol Pride Research Staff Volunteering Opportunity
We are looking for dedicated and outgoing individuals to assist with research at Bristol Pride 2018. The role will involve approaching attendees on the main pride day with a tablet and asking them to fill out a short survey. The research will be invaluable to the festival and will assist in future development and acquisition of funding for Bristol Pride.
The role will take place on Saturday 14th July at Millennium Square, Bristol. In exchange for volunteering two hours of your time, you will be provided with a wristband for the event so you can enjoy the rest of the festival. If you can commit to two or more shifts you will be rewarded with a £10 Amazon voucher as a thank you for your time, as well as a Pride Day supporter wristband. Funding by the Bristol City Council Cultural Investment Programme.
The two hour shifts are as follows:
- Group A: 12pm – 2pm (staff briefing at 11:45am)
- Group B: 2pm – 4pm (staff briefing at 1:45pm)
- Group C: 4pm – 6pm (staff briefing at 3:45pm)
- Group D: 6pm – 8pm (staff briefing at 5:45pm)
This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in an important festival that celebrates and champions the rights of LGBT+ individuals and takes a positive stance against discrimination and violence towards the community. By assisting with this research, you will be helping to shape the future of the festival.
